550s with z32 maf no tune

Is it safe at all to run this for like 1.5hrs to get home and then not driving for like 2 weeks and then getting a tune done to the car? Just wondering if ill be able to make it home alright. I have an fmu on there not sure what one but all i know at woot the fuel pressure was greater then 50 but less than 55.

No tune as in nothing controlling the injectors or mafs. the eu would be getting installed on the 30th.

I dont think the car will start with the 555's without some type of tune. I know alot of guys running that setup, but they had an SAFC to compinsate to get it running.

To give you an idea, I installed my New motor, 555's and Z32 MAF and had all my setting on my EU set to ZERO/Stock settings. Tryed starting the car and it would start and stall, then just shut off. Well pulled the plugs and they were FUEL soaked to cra*. Decided to change them out and try again with pulling some fuel, same thing, FUEL soaked. Got another set of plugs after alot of cranking and swearing. Installed them and changed the LAG time on the injectors. Car started right up and runs like a charm now.

Not sure if youll get it idle. Its ALOT of gas getting dumped in there.

I know MIKE with his turbo was running that for a while and might still be. He never has had a starting problem at all. It tricks that ECU/MAF and youll actually be able to start your car with the 555's and not have it stall out and soak plugs.

It should start and run fine, the only thing that might be an issue is the fuel pressure but I was running 50psi of fuel pressure and no problems.

An SAFC won't make a difference for what your talking about anynow. It doesn't control fuel at idle so having one won't make a difference.

Ok so thats even better news. I am not planing on boosting the car at all. Just want to get the installation parts installed all at the same time instead of doing one and then having to go back through everything and do it again.

well i got the car back from tilleys yesterday. Car made the 70 some mile trip back and then another 15miles to work and then 25 miles back to school today. Its running hella rich but mostly at idel. When starting cold or warm it starts just got to give it some gas on cold ones and then keep it revved up alittle till the idle sets fine. The car as a whole feels better as in alot more throttle response. I havent boosted that much at all only about 3psi one time on the highway home. The smaller pulley and the 00vi seem to be doing their job. Monday night if not tuesday i will have some dyno numbers as the car is going to be getting the EU installed and dynoed then. Thanks alot you guys for telling me that the car should hold up and run fine until the tune!

When and where are you getting the EU installed and the tune done? and how much is it running you? I was wondering whether we could get together on a small group deal.
