Recommended Belt Size for 3.125" on V1?

The belt size in the stickies are applicable to the V2 plate only. Below that there is a reference to the 69.5 Dayco Poly-Cog belt but I want to go with a Gates belt. What would be the belt number for that brand? I have the Gates K060705 but the tensioner is at the maximum tension right now and I'm still getting micro-slips happening.

Sticky:

SCER belt part numbers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gates belt sizes for V2:

3.60 to 3.33 - K060710
3.25 to 3.125 - K060705
3.00 to 2.87 - K060703

Well for a fact I can tell you that anything @ 3.25 too and including ASP's 3.0" pulley will use the 6 rib 695 length. I think that is the stock belt in the V1 kit which means it will work with the 3.33, 3.48, and 3.6, but I didn't buy the kit new so I can't speak for sure.

thanks matty for the info but the shops around here don't carry the goodyear brand belts. Just Dayco and Gates.

Lol, I'll have to phone them up. Everything I hear about them are about tires. The Goodyear tire chain is called Fountain Tire up here.

Just called a Fountain Tire shop and they don't carry Gatorback serpentine belts at all. Asked if they know of other places that would sell them and they suggested one of the parts shops that I usually go to but I know they sell only Dayco. Was then suggested that I could order a Gatorback through that parts shop. Oh well. I'll have to ask around in one of the local websites.

Well I would order one through their website anyway. When you buy them from they store, you never know how long it was on the shelf for. Next belt for my car in the spring will be ordered right from goodyear
