Your pulley configuration is different than ours, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Just giving you guys an update.

I will be entering school where I will have absoluetly NO time for the next 6 months to work on this project, although I am pretty close to having a product ready for sale.
I will pick up where I left off early next year when I come back.

Thanks for your patients guys and keep the faith

lol, seen the movie Mr. Deeds? "School is for fools!!! Look at meeeeee!" As the bum screams in joy

j/k good luck, as much as I'd like a s/c plate (even though I'm going turbo because of this lol) school is much more important than doing this. Sometimes I wish I could make a living fabricating parts and kits for people; but then I wake up and realize that only a select few can make a living doing that. Get your degree, THEN MAKE US OUR S/C KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After seeing Chern's turbo setup I think I would rather a SC setup. I don't like the idea of either cutting into my Hotshot headers or using stock manifolds.

That should be expected with any conventional turbo set-up. Unless you went RMT maybe.

Nah,

Most custom setups I see have custom fab'ed manifolds.

That's what I meant, good bye to the manifold is pretty much a turbo reality.

what chern did is better than most custom fabs. lots of those guys end up with crappy manifolds, he was lucky and already had good headers which is a definite plus to a turbo build. not sure why you would be upset cutting into hotshots if youre going turbo. what are you going to sell them and put on stock units???

I will be starting with this project again in few weeks and hopefully have a proto-type by early may and having something available for purchase by summer.

Once I get a final product ready for sale, I will sell a few (maybe 2 or 3) and get them out there in working production. Once I know they are 100% and perfect, I will then take orders.

The original Doner car for the FIRST plate kit will be chosen soon. Like I have stated before, I will ship you a Full Plate Kit with V2 Blower, Oil Drain and Oil Feed line. Once you install and know its working 100%, I will require you to ship the blower back with the plate kit. Once production starts on the kits, you will recieve a free plate kit. No changes to the fuel to have to be done with the doner car sicne its only be hooked up for Alignment Clarification, and Air will NOT be blown into the motor. Oil Feed and Drain lines WILL have to be hooked up to the doner car.

Thanks
-matt

That is awesome Matt!!!! I am really excited to see this thing go into production. I will 100% buy one as soon as you get it into production. I was looking at going turbo at the end of the summer but if this gets done then S/C all the way baby!!!

Hey that V3 looks awesome.

Vortech announces availability of the new V-3 supercharger featuring an internally lubricated transmission. This design allows for supercharger installation and operation without oil lines.
- Good!

The V-3 supercharger can be installed into any existing Vortech V-1, V-2, V-4 or V-7 bracketry
- This would be a good investment.

Whos gonna try one of these??

I know exactly what you're talking about. It would make installation even more of a breeze. When I heard about the self contained blower, I automatically thought of ATI's Procharger, then I got all happy in the pants when I found out it was Vortech's new V3 blower.

Hey Matt, have you looked at the supercharger kit available for the 3.5 Cefiro over in Taiwan, I think you should try to make a mock up of it. Here is the link to the kit:

The 6th gen guys have been talking about it so I figured I would post it in here.

Either my math is off, or they're asking for almost $11k for that blower kit.

I think your math is off because it should only be about $2500

Man, you'd think having the MAF right at the outlet of the blower would wreak havoc on the sensor.

Am I seeing a belt-driven supercharger with a drive shaft going completely across the front of the engine? How about the details on this bad boy? This may be exactly what my 3.5 needs!

It's a shame though the radiator is getting pushed forward and has no play. That's not good.

A couple of people have sent me PM's asking for details about the supercharger I posted about.

To make things clear, this is NOT my supercharger. I only took the pic from the link that was posted earlier.

Here's the link in case any of you missed it. Looks like the auction is about to end too..
