I know this is the wrong forum, but IDK. I'm not getting much response over in the 5th gen section and am sure you guys have better recomendations on where to get a remaned tranny. My planetary gears are shot and I don't have enough time to do the rebuild myself.
A used ebay tranny and phoenixhardpats.com are both out of the question. (To many negative reviews)

I found no bad reviews about them online thus far and no complaints thru BBB or ripoffreport.com.. They also answer their phones promptly.

The guy on the phone isn't a salesperson, but said they typically run $1200-$1500.

Any other good places I should check?? let me know and thanks in advance.

 

I would try a junk yard. You can get a 5 speed around here for $400-500.
