You could also make your own elbow reducer. Buy a silicone (not rubber) 3" elbow and the 2.75" reducer insert on his website. Here you go...

How much boost and heat can those rubber elbows hold? good enough for 7psi?

Most definately for 7psi. Ptatohed and I have had 12 psi running through ours at one point. Now we're pushing 10psi daily. We're both SC'd.

For turbo, I guess it would depend on how close (upstream wise) it is to the turbo. Too close and I would imagine it would fail, but I'm not sure.

because those are the ones i was curious about. my 90degree turns wont be near the turbo at all.

EDIT: I just called intakehoses and I asked their opinion on using the rubber 90degree for low boost such as 7psi, and he said a few guys do that for low boost applications, but as long as the air leaving the turbo is not more than 250F. u guys have any clue how hot the air coming out of the turbo gets?
