phantom boost guage

phantom boost guage

i have a phantom 15psi boost guage and sometimes it works proper and other times it is crazy. anyone have this same problem with the same guage?

Make sure you don't have any leaks, otherwise its defective.

it seems to be working now for the last two days i had check for leaks dont seem to have any. i fixed a ground and that seem to do the trick but now sure.

According to your link, you have the electrical boost gauge, not a mechanical gauge. What power source are you using? It must maintain power while cranking. Most power sources do not (ex. the cigararette lighter which a lot of people use) maintain power. The Wizard and I tapped the telephone fuse wire (the one marked as "IGN", not "ACC") (Green wire I think??). The gauge recallibrates itself each time you start your car, during cranking. Good luck.
