How well does meth injection really work?

Im wondrering how well it water/meth /acohol injection really helps. Im going to be running about 10 psi on low boost and about 15psi on high. Ok how much can you really advance timing with the injection. Im guessing on 10 psi I may retard timing about 2-4 degress with out injection. So what do you think it could be advance to with injection and still obtain no knock. Is the kit really work bothing with?

As far as I know, for DSM's, methanol injection works really well. Not sure about Nissan motors. A few on my buddies have meth injection on their DSMs, they used to hustle people a few years ago back when meth injection was not really known well among street racers. Now its like every other DSM has the kit.

My friend runs 10psi on his 96 max. He also lives down here in hot n humid south florida. He has a water injection kit and prety much he has no knock issues, even allows him to run stock ignition timing with our hot temperatures without any problems (has the J&S safeguard as a back up but the water injection takes care of most of it, Im not sure if the J&S has ever actually been "set off", its just there as a precaution).

As far as it allowing us to advance timing as it prevents knock, Im sure its very possible to do so, but of course that depends largerly on the temperature where you live at. People in Canada for example could take advantage of this and advance timing more so than I would be able to here in Miami (if I could advance it w/o creating knock to begin with). So thats pretty relative to your location.

A Griffin Aluminum radiator might help too
