Quick FPR question

Found a guy locally that has an aftermarket FPR for 65$Cnd (like 50$US). Says its brand new. Its a B&M, same as my line lock. Would you trust B&M for an FPR?

Same as this but red: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/B-M-C...QQcmdZViewItem

I know it says Honda-Acura but all aftermarket adjustable FPRs should do the same damn thing right? Just has to be a dam on the fuel line.

I have next to no downtime if I buy this one. If I buy from Ebay it takes like 2 weeks to get here, and if I buy new from a race shop its 200 for a good one. Let me know what you think.

the link you have up is for a kit that modifies that current fpr that you have. IIRC you cut your fpr in half and replace that top with this one. I remember seeing it on a website with step by step instructions with pictures.

Yep this is the kind that modifies your stock fpr. It replaces the entire upper assembly (the part where the vacuum line goes and where the spring is) and makes it an adjustable fpr with the other half of your stock fpr. I personally would just get a new one, but if you're in a hurry go for it. Make sure the diameter of the stock one matches up with this, or is at least close to it.

A kid I know has this on his honda and it works fine I guess. There's also no vacuum line on this, so you'll have to run a constant fuel pressure. On our cars its 36-idle 43.5-wot (I THINK!!!). The vacuum pressure decreases the psi as the car goes towards idle and vice versa.

EDIT: Also there's not that much room between the stock fpr and the flange on the fuel rail. This might not even be possible.

Yeah, they're like 130 on ebay and pop right on to your fuel rail.

Saw this one but doesnt look like it has a gauge:

And I cant be sure its gonna fit at the end of my VQ35 fuel rail, although the fitting end all looks the same.

If the ends fit you should be straight. I guess you'd have to put the gauge inline before the fuel rail but after the fuel filter.
