D*ymn, I'd like to see your shop. You're right, of course. When you're building monsters, you don't want weak-sauce sparks. For us normal folk dealing with stock ECUs/coils and needing more sparks, the $50 special works pretty well.
GM coil paks. There's 50-70 Kilovolts at the gap, I bet. Thanks for the view into what your shop creates.
