V2 Plate Question

I was just wondering if this will affect the installation of the kit...

I sold the kit to someone and he is wondering if he needs to get a new plate or if things will install fine with that hole. He will be the third owner of the kit. It ran fine while it was on my car, but I never really noticed that hole there until I went to sell it. Just hoping for some feedback. Thanks

EDIT - it might be OK. Here's a picture of the back (ignore red grinding areas):

What hole are you talking about? The hole that's ripped off? If so, it makes for an easier install and removal of the SC kit. You don't have to remove the tensioner pulley after the first install of your SC.

Mine was cut off. Made for easier install removal, believe it or not. I had no belt shredding issues or anything out of the ordinary with that hole ripped off.
