Oil feed Line Help

yes i did search & yes i did read the SCIFD from vqpower.com but it doesnt help me find the information i need. i am not as knowledgable yet so please bare with me. I have the T fitting that goes into the block (purchased from stillen). i am missing the 120 degree bend that attaches to it and need to put together an SS oil feed line to feed the blower as well. here is where i need help.

what size is the ends on the 120degree fitting? and for the feed line, the diameter is -4an but what kind of fittings do i need for both ends? (what size fits the blower and what size attaches to 120 degree bend on T fitting). i understand the blower uses a 45 degree bend.

can anyone help me put this together?

i believe most of this can be purchased at either of these websites but i couldnt quiet figure out what size i need.

Matty the supercharger kit guru needs to chime in. If you get the oil feed kit from this site http://www.stealthmodeperformance.com/oil-uni.shtml then all you have to find is the supercharger end fitting specs. Maybe stillen still has the specs by chance or maybe Vortech.

Here is what you'll need to make your own oil feed line:

1. -4AN SS hose

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...+115&x=25&y=12

2. -4AN to 1/8 NTP straight adapter fitting

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...700+0&x=38&y=5

3. Plugs

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...&DDS=1&N=700+0

4. -4AN to 1/8 NTP 90 degree adapter fitting

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...00+0&x=31&y=13

5. -4AN hose ends... 2 of them!

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...700+0&x=43&y=2

6. AN hose cutter (if you want).

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...00+0&x=43&y=11

7. Block fitting

http://www.stealthmodeperformance.co...blockfit.shtml

If you bought a Stillen block fitting you won't need number 3, and one of number 5 needs to be a 120 degree hose end fitting instead of a straight one.

yup, i have the stillen fitting already. thanks for the help man. greatly appreciated ! i believe matty said you can get away without the 120 as long as there is some slack in the feed line.

Looks like you already have a 1/8 NTP to -4AN straight adaptor on there...

Yeah... Except #7 of course... And make sure the other #5 is a straight hose end for the end that goes to the SC.

From what I know they are the same. The company said that they fit the "vortech oil squirter" that goes into the blower

I am looking into seeing if stuff from here http://www.jgsturbo.com/index2.html will work as well. I have purchased stuff from him before for my 240sx, and they are only one state away. Might be a good solution for the oil T as well.

if thats the case then i will just need the #4 posted by i30ds and the 120 degree to attach the other end to the T, correct?

How much SS line are you guys using to reach the blower ?? 3' 4' 5' ??

That SS line already prepped comes in 3' or 4'...I bought the 3' and it seems tiny.

im thinkin 6' should be more than enough. why do you guys stress so much about it being exactly the right lenght? is there a downside to some extra slack? you can tie it up somewhere....

i30d's reply for the parts is awesome.

I'm guessing that would also work in place of the oil line tee listed?

3' is not going to work... you need at least 4'...

since you can only buy ss line in 3' intervals, it's not really an issue. I just ordered the 6' bundle and then cut it to lenght.

the extra slack could rub against things and then cause a leak... but just as not as that is not happening, extra slack is not an issue. I used some insulated clamps along the oil pan with some custom made spacers and longer bolts to help secure the line...

Important! Auto-Fit Hose ends are designed to be used with Perform-O-Flex Auto-Flex, & Pro-Lite 350 hose. They are not recommended for use with any other manufacturers' hose. Before purchasing a single-nipple hose end that merely "looks good," check the pressure ratings of Auto-Fit hose ends when used with Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex hose, or Pro-Lite 350 hose.
is that something i should really worry about since im getting the "pro-flex" hose?

I don't know what "Auto-Fit" is. Just as long as you use the items I linked you and assemble the line correctly, you won't have any problems.

i just noticed my kit didnt have a feed line so i just bought all of this.... i assume it all goes together logically or is there a certain pattern?
