I want to charge my max by next summer will I get about 270HP/230WHP?

I have heard some people say this. I just wanna make sure it is worth putting 2-3 grand into my car for this or a Bike. I want to pretty much beat SRT-4s that is pretty much my goal or just low 14s to high 13s. You think this can be done with just the v2 kit and a few other things? OR will I have to do headers, Injectors, Pump. etc etc etc... To get the full bennifit?

One of my friends that has a 330WHP STi thinks I will not get 225-230WHP by just adding the supercharger. I am starting to believe him that I would need to do more work than just the charger huh?

Check out the dyno runs posted for peoples mods and what HP they are putting down. Good place to start and figure out what you want to do.

I am just trying to think if my engine is too old to do all this. It has 156k miles on it, It runs like a charm and the car is mint, but I just want to be like all you guys and not only have bragging rights but I want to kill all 14 sec cars.

making 230whp with a basic SC setup is a piece of cake. how much you skimp on supporting mods is up to you, how small your wallet is, and how lucky you feel.

lol.... omg.. U have no Idea how happy I would be and rubbing it in his face if I beat his STi with a turbo setup...

I would be like HAHAHA Maximas do rule and have better potential than your engine with a turbo.

haha yea you will enjoy the sc'er set up. I miss mine so much but at least I know the owners who have it now and they are taken good care of my old car. Is your car auto or stick?

You won't have much bottom end with a Stillen blower over a turbo, and it takes away a bit of power from your engine to drive the supercharger. So down low the car will feel a bit slower till the blower starts to kick out some boost.

If you want low end, you need turbo. Correctly set up turbo Maxima can make a ton of TQ at low RPMs.

Like neal said making 230-240whp with a s/c will be easy. That kind of power with a good driver should put you in the low 13's with traction. If I could run high 13's with 210whp and a ****ty launch low 13's should not be a problem. Now on the other hand go turbo and it will be a breeze to make 275whp
