Intercooler Cooling Kit, Worth it?

Ive been really debating this for a couple of days now. Is it really worth it to invest in an intercooler cooling kit (looks like a nitrous kit but is not). Is it worth the Hp gain? I don't know cause nobody here has got one that I have seen. I am really torn about this. Discuss......

Short answer : Turbo and Supercharger running high boost, YES its worth it. NO HP gain, but your able to run at a safer tempurature and thats what its all about.

I think he means the spray bar (Co2). If thats what you mean then compairing to the evo my friend has with it he says he helps out so much with the heat soak in 3rd gear for him. He hasnt dynoed with it but says easily 30hp when he sprays it, just from that much of a colder air.

For you it should do wonders i dont know how recent that picture of your car is but it doesnt look like much air would hit an intercooler so this would drasticly cool down the intercooler.

those spray bars are virtually useless. if you want something effective get a water/methanol kit. those are far from useless... they are awesome.

the water/methanol setup is alot easier and if you use alcohal it will raise the octance in your gas alittle, alot of old time street racers use it

chris you can just convert your sprayers for the window wipers

I will get on it. Might be worth it. That way I can put the $ I would have spent on an intercooler spray kit and just do methanol injection. Put that $ towards tranny.
