Clutch Master Cylinders

I recently had an issue with my clutch lines leaking and the master cylinder was starting to leak. I decided to try to upgrade to a Wilwood clutch master cylinder 3/4" thinking it would help clutch feel (Stock is 5/8"). I found that the clutch actually got heavier because the Force required is actually more on a larger cylinder - google "hydraulic force multiplication" if you want details. However, the throw of the clutch is less since it moves more fluid. I can get faster gear changes but at the expense of heavier clutch. If anyone knows of anything smaller than a 5/8" master cylinder, I could like to try it. I was thinking a 1/2" piston would feel lighter but the travel would be even more than stock! Has anyone played around with this?
