I'm still going the headers route. Importing a set from New Zealand for $575 NZD incl postage. That works out to be $436 USD for you guys. They're a cheap set of headers if you ask me.

Wizard - Do you know what the full specifications are of the stand-off bolts? Stillen tell me they are out of stock but wouldnt be surprised if I was able to find a replica at a hardware store.
You're welcome!

The technical listing for the standoff bolts is the following: M6-1.0/.50" Hex Standoff bolts.

The two bolts that screw into the standoff bolts are as follows:
M6-1.0x30mm HHCS with a split lock and flat washer. (The standoff bolt and this assembly goes the hole just above the alternator hole)

and

M6-1.0x20mm FHCS (The standoff bolt and this assembly goes the hole just above the idler pulley hole)

Thanks for your help Wizard. It's great to know there's people out there willing to help the n00bs like myself

Your car looks like a beast by the way. Very similar to what I'm doing.

MEVI, Headers, Emanage etc. Did you use a Z32 MAF on yours?

What's the power like? How does it stack up against your Supras?

Sorry for all the questions - very curious

ANOTHER question....

I have a slight oil leak. It leaks the occasional drop. Its such an insignificant leak I haven't bothered to fix it. I never have to top the oil up either.. i'm just aware that there is one. At a guess it'd leak about 60ml of oil a month?

The leak is coming from the bottom of the timing case cover. I've been quoted $1500 to have it fixed up but didnt see the merit in it.

With the supercharger, is there a likelyhood that this would get worse?

No problem. It's cool that you're appreciative.

Thanks for the props, it's a never ending work in progress.

Z32 Maf is not in yet. I wired the harness plug on though eight months ago Z32 is going in when I install the 555cc injectors. Almost started installing the injectors last night, but some work on Ptatohed's car took precidence.

Power is good for what it is....and I enjoy driving it very much. The max is much faster than my MKIII Supras, and more fun to drive. As for the MKIV Supra, there's no comparison between the twin turbo 6-speed monster and my Maxima. MKIV Supra really puts me back in the seat when I floor it, and puts a silly grin on my face every time.

It sounds like you had the oil leak previous to the installation of the SC. Is this correct? If so, then IMO I don't see how the addition of the SC would make the oil leak any worse. I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't bother you. However, at the next oil change, I would clean up that area really good, apply Permatex grey, and let it dry for a full 24 hours before refilling with oil. You never know, it may just stop your oil leak.

Thanks Wizard. I have the 555cc injectors and the Z32 MAF. They're going in with the install of the SC.

I actually wired in the Z32 MAF when the car was stock just for a laugh. I plugged the emanage into the laptop and changed the MAF over. It didnt run very well. Does it only work well with boost or something. I'm hoping my Z32 MAF isnt stuffed.
