00 Turbo Se maxima???

i see the kits on ebay, but they dont include manifold, etc hot sides of things. These so called "performance fabricators" local wont make shyte for me, excuse my french. So i would like to know where do you guys get your custom manifolds and up/down pipes etc made at? Im located in Nothern Va, i dont want to drive but i will if i have to. I want to buy the ebay kit but once you have the custom parts made, will everything line up? Who here has used the ebay kit with the their on custom extras? I saw the turbo specialties kit but they only include one manifold, is that right? help me thanx. I have searched but i couldt find anyone that was willing to make the custom parts for the maxima.....

Being talked about already and i actually have this kit on a 97. You do need alot of fab work i.e forward y and downpipe. trying to get a manifold setup would be very pricey . i had a forward y made and a down pipe.

you need to read the turbospecialties kit review since i have already gone over it a hundred times in that thread.

your pick of course. Ask anyone in the Northeast forum that has been in my car if you need testimonial regarding the turbospecialties kit. (Grey00Lustre is one of them). I have installed this kit and know the in's and out's of it, that could be valuable to you....
You also have kzoosho's testimonial about the ebay kit. If he's raving highly of it, then it must be a great kit!!!! He's done it so he knows the 411 on that kit. Which is just as high a value.

Personally,... the e-bay kit looks a little easier to install But, you have to custom fab for it to work= $$$$$
Turbospecialties kit is a bit more complete in it's parts thus easier to go from start to finish.
They have both their good and bad points IMO.

The Good news is you have a choice in kits to buy.
just price it out and see which one is the better deal for you.
just keep us posted on what you get. if you need help with installs , just ask.. we're more than willing to help get you to boost.

Doc is right . The kit he has is a well put together kit not arguing that at all. I was just saying for my insdtall the ebay kit was all i needed since i plan to change my turbo. If you do get the ebay kit please and i say please get a better turbo so you dont blow your motor with it. So like doc has stated you do have choices . I have acces to benders ,welders , and custom work so it didnt cost me much. But any one else is looking at about $3-400 for down pipes and about $500 for a forward y. If you know some one it willl be cheaper but if you dont those ar things to consider.

Basically you have 4 choices:

1) Buy Doc's Specialty Turbo kit and DIY.
2) Build an ebay turbo kit with the help of an exhaust fab shop.
3) Build your own RMT turbo kit like Streetzlegend
4) Buy Neal's forward y-pipe turbo kit that he is selling and complete it.

Pretty simple options if you ask me.
