Evo 8 turbo...

I'm piecing together a turbo kit. I have a turbo from an Evo 8, the intercooler from an Evo 9 and an HKS blow off valve so far. I've been reading up on the forum for information on turbo-ing and I was wondering what you guys that have boosted before would recommend for a Fuel Management System and tuning techniques. Those are really the only questions I still have. I was going to bend my own pipes and after reading I'm just going to go ahead and upgrade my injectors and fuel pump; possibly TB as well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

wayyyyyy to small. hell the turbo i have is almost twice the size of the 14g . You would spool damn fast and die off in the mid to upper range.

EVO 8's use internally gated 16G's right? Or are those EVO 3 ones?

I was gonna use one, but then i realized that EVO is a 2.0L 4 cyl FTL.

my buddy has an 18G turbo on his SR240 and he's hitting 19lbs at only 3800rpms. that turbo is way to small for our motors

just remember that you get what you pay and being that your looking for a turbo i wouldn't go cheap. it you get a junk one and it goes bad it could kill the motor just my .02
