Turbo Oil feed/drain alignment

Aaaite, so I know that the OPTIMAL way to have the inlet and outlet of oil on a turbo is vertical, as most are of course gravity fed. However, I CANNOT clock the turbine housing from the center section for the life of me. PB Blaster+torch+vice+prying bar+hammer, does not spin from the center section.

Long story short, if I mount the turbo in a way that causes the inlet/outlet alignment to be at a ~45* angle relative to vertical, would that create any problems?

If I MUST mount it vertical, I COULD, but my exhuast tubing would have to go over the rear beam (duh) then go straight down and make a u-turn to come UP into the turbine, lol. Like this...

(please dont laugh at my mad-tyte jdm paint skillz )

Thats the worse drawing i have ever seen in my life. Personally i think, since you wont be really drained by gravity, the pump will be sucking the oil. you might be able to get away with it.

i said no hating bunghole! lmao j/k. Im at work so I cant really take my time to do it nice and clean, lol.

But yes! the pump this is true, it has 11ft of vertical priming capability, so it should be able to suck the the oil out of the turbo with no problem at all. But def wouldnt go passed a 45* angle on it.

Hmmm that holset is going to be fun in a rear mount. But since y=ou will have a pump there shouldnt be much of a problem. As long as you pump is up to par you will be ok.
