UTEC vs EU for EM on boosted 5.5 gen

Does anybody have experience with a UTEC on a 5.5 gen? NmexMAX was telling me that it might work better than an emanage ultimate since some 5.5ers were having trouble with them. I know the UTEC is a little more expensive, but hopefully I can pick one up used to cut some of the difference.

You have to hard wire it like the EU, you just can't plug it in like the G35/Z/6th Gen. I like it better than the EU because you have standalone fuel and timing, not piggyback. Very easy to tune especially if you use UTECLogger or UTI. The knock sensor tuning is a real bonus. I picked mine up for $500 on the 350Z board.

Thanks for the info, Jime. Does the UTEC come with wiring diagrams to hardwire or where did you find the info?

I used the 350Z FSM and cross referenced to the Maxima FSM, fairly easy.
