Adieu friends!

To all those who helped me over the last 6 years build out a spectacular machine here in the boosted forums of maxima.org - I just want to say goodbye.

For those of you that don't know - I purchased a G37S Coupe last September and the Maxima has been sitting in the garage.

I had not sold it because I wanted to make sure the right person got it who would appreciate what it was and know how to care for her, as well as keep her "in the community".

With that, as of this last Saturday - the Maxima is now sold to maximase86. Long time friend who has spent almost as many hours as I have under the hood of the Max.

So goodbye everyone. The Maxima remains the best car I have ever owned. But I'm not exactly crying on the leather of the G either. Over time, I only hope it gives me as much pleasure and joy as the Maxima did.

Bye!

I thought you already said goodbye?

Just because you get a new car doesn't mean you can't keep your Max. too.

Thanks for everything Ian.

Have fun with your new toy.

We hope to still see you around from time to time.

I bought my MEVI second hand, but it originally came from your MEVI group deal way back in the day.

Adios amigo!! Have fun with the G37.

I did already say goodbye. But now it's official + I wanted to point out that maximase86 was taking the ride.

Per request - pics of the new ride:

Enjoy your G!

I know how you feel. I now pretty much drive our Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Maxima hardly gets any use. It's hard to give up NAV, leather, ABS, Stability Control and not to mention the 38 mpg with the prices of gas skyrocketing!
