Okay I messed up and I know it!!

Okay here is the deal. I dont like to be flamed so if you don't like the thread (excuse my French) stay the F$$K out or i will drop kick you !!!

I recently purchased a V-2 SC kit. I did not have any pulleys and i decided to buy just a stock pulley 3.6 for now to make sure I get used to boost before i go too crazy .

So for now for mods I have the 00VI, with 2000 injectors (slightly larger), Y-pipe, Cat and greddy catback, VAFCII, zeitronix wideband and an ACT clutch. My last 1/4mile time was 14.7@95 with the Y-pipe,USIM and dead knock sensor.

Now I was hoping to hit about 280-300fwhp with this pulley which now i think is tough but i think with a good tune is possible. What do you guys think??

I was a little ahead of myself but tell me if these are next mods are good for 360-400fwhp in addition to the above mods. I have looked at the boosted Maxima's sticky for over 2years now so please don't say search etc.

1. Cattman headers + Y

2. 2.87 pulley (already have)

3. FMIC

4. Z32 MAF

5. Walbro 255LPH-HP

6. 440CC injectors (already have )

7. AFPR if needed.

7. Maybe EU but I am not too sure yet( The #1-6 are scheduled at spring time install and are automatically over $2000 in mods and EU might have to wait).

Thank you

Don't try to re-invent the wheel... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=554764

Stock pulley - http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=135256
3.33 pulley - http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=101015
3.25 pulley - http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=153726

Those are all on manual cars, you didn't mention if your 5spd or auto.

Just to give you some ideas of what you need/can shoot for.

Members setups and power levels seem to be fairly duplicatable. Sure you might be off by 10hp or so, but unless something is wrong with the car, I have never seen some wild power number that couldn't be explained. Except for tuning, there are not too many variables with a S/C setup. Good luck.

Even with a good tune, I seriously doubt you'll even hit 280hp with the 3.6 pulley. More like 260-270hp. With a 3.25 pulley though, you can probably achieve your initial goal.

If you are using the hp fuel pump, you will need the afpr.

My opinion: if the kit doesn't already come with plumbing for a front mount I wouldn't bother building/buying all that for the 3.6 pulley install. The SC needs to be removed to swap pulleys so I would re-evaluate the FMIC at that time.

In my experience, a z32MAF and 370CC injectors worked well with the stock ECU... it did find it's way over to the rich side quite a bit tho.

Just an FYI, I'm currently running 370CC injectors with a Z32 MAF, running 34psi fuel pressure at idle, and I have no issues with running too rich. I'm currently using a Cartech FMU to control fuel pressure under boost until the EU goes in. I've heard of some people having starting issues, but I have not encountered any thus far.

To the OP:

On a side note, I'm a little confused by your thread title. How exactly did you "mess up and you know it"???

Darn you Wizard-Boy! You beat me to it.

Not only does the title have nothing to do with the first post contents, but vague thread titles are supposed to be locked per the .org's rules.
