Oil return line

So yesterday I was looking at speed channel, and they were doing twin RMT on a corvette, Well when they were running the return oil lines, they tapped the valve cover and place it there, would that be a possibility with the max? Thanks for your help guys.

If it was a rear mount it would be ok, cuz the oil has a chance to cool down on its way back to the motor. If the turbo is in the front, that super heated oil has a history of burning up the valve assemblies when dumped into the valve cover. This was the reason Custommaxima.com stopped selling the kit they were making. Several people had engine failures.

ya I agree if you place it for a rmt setup u should be ok but if the super heated oil is being dumped back in like that ur sure to do some damage.
