You might be maxing out the injectors...how many lbs are you running right now still 9?? DE-K injectors right? try some 350Z rev ups before you go bigger...it's winter coming ..work on your setup in the winter so you can come out strong in the spring...wizard and I know Steve (98maxedout) know what they're talking about flava too...take your time with things... with these cars patience is a virtue!!

okay new report....i looked under the car today cause i was STILL having the fuel pressure problem...soo i looked under in the back near the tank and the rubber lines that connect to the sending unit and the hardlines were rotted and wet soo im guessing that those lines were the problem..soo i just changed them and soon to go for a test drive and soo if it worked..hopefully it did lol

You keep thinking its everything but the obvious....sounds like you are maxing out the injectors... but hopefully you found your problem.

Im sure, but Im also sure some have gone beyond that as well on stock injectors. The thing to consider is the condition of the units you are using. Did you buy them new or used? If you bought them used did you just slap them in or did you have them flow tested to insure they even flow to there correct capacity?

Not sure, but FWIW Ptatohed is at ~11 psi with stock injectors and no tuning whatsoever. No issues as of yet.

What's the status of your Cartech FMU? Rebuilt and reinstalled? Same issues?

I'm still not convinced your FMU is working properly based on the info you've provided. It could very well be the injectors like Flava suggested too. Keep troubleshooting!!

Well hopefully for him it is the FMU.
maxkid123,
If you dont go with that Vortech FMU being sold, I have a Cartech one laying around I would let go for cheap.

This is great advice when I got my 00vi done one of the injectors was on it's way out didn't fully go till about a month later started getting a misfire and couldn't figure it out...replaced a few thing then figured out it was the injector been running sttroonngg since.

I know someone running s/c'd with a lil ol bottle and running with stock DE injectors with noo problems whatsoever.

I'm pretty sure you did and it's probably a dumb question for me to ask...BUT did you change out your fuel pump also ?

EDIT Just read your running a walbro. Def look into that FMU just see if you can swap in a Vortech one for a lil while to see how it runs
