Emanage Blue + Wideband Help

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some help in wiring my wideband O2 (LC-1) into my Emanage Blue. I am using the boost port for my MAP sensor, so I can't connect it into there. I have read some things about people using the MAF2 input, but it sounds like another program is needed, Emanage Tools. I would like to avoid that, if possible.

Does anyone have any advice, or has anyone done this? If I cant scale the voltages to AFR it wouldn't be a huge deal, just so long as I can datalog.

Also, I have 550cc injectors and am using a correction factor to scale them. Would this cause timing issues across the entire RPM/boost range just like adjusting in the airflow map?

Thanks!

Hook up the wideband to the yellow wire but you have to use that other program. The blue can either use the map sensor or the af harness, not both with the support tool. You might want to look into getting the ultimate.

^ thats correct, you wont be able to use the wideband if ur already using the port. I also use that port for my map sensor as well, how ever if i ever wanna log a/f using the emanage (since it gives you rpm, easier to tune), i just disconnect the map sensor and put the wideband, only problem is now i use the map sensor for my timing. No way around it for us, sucks. or we can get an EU, or an expensive RPM module to be able to log a/f with rpm using the lc1.

Does anyone know what a solid yellow light at the USB connection means? The light is yellow whether I plug in my giff tech cable or not. Also, it will let me "communicate" with the unit, but I can't upload or download, it says communication error. The support tool says it is online, but when trying to download from the emanage it says communication error. Are there any dials or anything I need to change to communicate?

I know this thread is old and unrelated, but I didn't want to make a whole new thread for a hopefully simple problem

(I just went through this last night).Make sure all versions are the same(support tool, main unit)
You may just need to uninstall and reinstall the support tool.
Just an fyi... key must be on (not running) during communication regardless of what the greddy main screen says. mines said "online" when the key was off and unit disconnected..

mine wont let me communicate with the emanage to update or even check the firmware on it. Ive tried versions 1.11, 1.20, 1.49. I dont know if there are others and if there are where to find them. Maybe theres a way to wipe the emanage and start from nothing? As far as the versions, i can get 1.11 to do something, meaning I connect it and tell it to update main unit and it will start to do that, loads 1 blue bar, and then nothing for as long as youre willing to watch. I really wish i knew what that yellow light meant...

fixed the problem...and I look like an idiot. I didnt check the com port for the tool, and when I did I found out it was set to COM19 (why the f are there more than 5-6 COMs? This computer has some 140 COMs!!). Anyway, set it to COM2 and were goin smooth now. Time for some tuning. Thanks for the help

ok, more problems, does anybody have the setup info for the blue on a 5.5gen? I need the values for the three dials, jumper locations, and all the parameter values. Thanks for any help.

There was supposed to be a fix in the software that was supposed to stop that but I installed diodes prior to that knowledge.

yeah, I put some diodes in now. I was under the impression that it was fixed via software, but after reading some stuff by J&S, they used the same type of drivers and it looks like its a hardware problem that cant be fixed with software, so I spent the <5$ on diodes and that should fix that.

Car has been down for a new clutch and waiting on that coil, should be trying tomorrow and well find out if that jumper setting is good or what
