EMU Injector Scaling Lag Times. Help!
EMU Injector Scaling Lag Times. Help!
Hey guy, this is probably a long shot as I haven't really found definite answers but here goes.
Anyone know the lag times for the following injectors?
4th gen
-----------------------------
Stock CC = 259
Lag time =
Aftermarket
------------------------------
Deatschwerks CC = 600
Lag time =
Trying to scale via EMU on duration.
Thanks

I have RC injectors and luckily I could leave it at zero. Contact deast and see if they know.

Or try those values.

Thanks Kevlo, I tried various before and after cc with various lag times. No go. I made a new thread asking what people have used to see if it would help me out figure out why I can't tune via duration.
I had to figure this out the hard way.
I am using Mustang Cobra Injectors.
I basically drove on the highway for 20 minutes with an OBD-II scanner hooked up with it displaying my long term and short term fuel trims. I kept scaling my injectors until the fuel trims fluctuated no more than +-3.
After I got the scaling down, I adjusted the lag time until my idle AFR was 14.7.
The problem with adjusting the lag times is that after you drive the car, the idle will usually always be 14.7 because the ECU compensates automatically, but if you let it sit for a while, it will start to either drift rich or drift lean.
Hope this helps.
