Emanage Ultimate Question

How good /bad is the drive-ability of the Emanage ultimate in the city or even on the highway?? Was told by the tuner that they aren't the best. The Emanage came with the kit so just wondering if I should invest in a AME FIC down the line. Thanks in advance.

Tuner said I should go with Nistune, but they don't do anything for our cars.

Ummmm....what is the basis of your opinion?

Find yourself a new tuner. If tuned right, your Max should drive EXACTLY like OEM, and startup exactly like OEM, including cold and warm starts. Mine does...

Yeah I don't know what "bad drive-ability" is but either way it should be like stock and I think that the eu and jwt are good to use but thats just my opinion

I hear NIstune is still in the works but it will only work on 95 ecu's based off of what I heard..

And yeah what your tuner said about the emu is basically crap because many here and a buddy near me (schmellyphart) who has done several bolt ons is running an Emanage Ultimate on his daily driven max and is quite streetable. He even managed to get some nice MPG numbers out of his max using the EMU and other fuel saving tricks lol

I could be wrong but he might have based his advice from a previous experience??

I just got an email from nistune the type 4 board will work in the 95 (I have a 95 with a 3.5 hybrid swap soon to be turbo) you just have to order the plms consult usb cable but they require your ecu part number when ordering they would also want your ecu sent to them or they main distributor in the USA to read the rom image you dont have to get the license which is extra plus its waaay! less expensive the EMU

See if they can give you the range of ECU numbers that will work...

http://jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/ECU-ID.PDF

i assume it will be similar to JWT's list of ecu's

Yea I'll send them an email this afternoon, I send them my info on my ecu and got an email back this morning saying to send it over. He sent me an order from break down and have to say it's a whole lot less expensive then what i though it was going to be.

Everyone bashes e-manage. That's like saying go buy a 240sx why you moddin a max. That video looks like e-manage anyway. E-manage has been holdin it down for years, just broke nikkas complain. I'm more broke than all of you combined and I still saved and bought a used EU. So finally there's a easy way to do this, NISTUNE FTW!!!
