JECS Injectors?

anyone running JECS injectors? They "seem" to have good reviews and all but after a little internet search i see a few complaints. Looking to run a 555cc (550CC) injectors.

any feedback?
thanks!

jecs is the manuracturer of stock 4th gen injectors (in addition to the 300zx 370cc drop ins for 4th gens, nismo injectors 550s for 4th gens, etc).

Aren't JECS the stock injectors? If im not mistaken i think they're the stock injectors for the 3rd gens too. When replacing a few bad injectors i had a few years back i put in ones called pythons. They've been pretty good so far if you maybe want to check any reviews on em and see what you think?

right...but i've heard of companies redrilling the stock JECS injectors to bigger flow. not sure how precise the drilling processing is.

Ive always used Deatsch Werks, Look them up, or give them a call, they can and will give you the run down, even if you don't buy from them.

I'm looking to replace the stock injectors on my built VQ30DEK, the engine will eventually get a S/C but I first need to break in the engine for a 1000km. I'm thinking of 550's or should I go higher, I think my engine will be good for 400HP when boosted. Any advice ? I have yet to hook up the EU and I'm not that knowledgable on injectors, I guess I will be able to simply adjust the fuel pressure N/A and turn it up when boosted ?

It's a good idea to size your injectors to how much power you're making. You might want to look into the ford svt cobra "terminator" factory oem injectors. That engine is supercharged. I bought some for my "de-k" and I plan on ~400hp. You can even buy them new pretty cheap. The only mods you need to make to use them is to double up on the fuel rail spacers and pigtails which can be had online for a few bucks.

Dan, this is really late but I'm running JECS. I assume they're re-drilled, but mine are actually flow-tested and have a chart etc. with them. I assume most JECS are re-drilled, and in fact I did a ton of research on this and it seems like the VAST majority of high flow injectors out there are re-drills, other than high flow OEM's like TTZ injectors or whatever. Off the top of my head, I can only think of Injector Dynamics that aren't re-drills.

fwiw deatschwerks does not re-drill injectors anymore except for a couple very specific applications. they've gotten to the point where they can provide most injector sizes without needing to re-drill them.
