Yes, you should definitely have a flex pipe in there.

if you have the same side-feed red top 270cc as the vq30de 95-99 (00-01+ are top-feed)
then you can use the vg30dett 300zx twinturbo 370cc injectors (purple tops)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NISSAN-300ZX...a3e51f&vxp=mtr

I believe the vg30dett's sr20det's and q45 - use the same 370cc purple top injectors.

I saw the pic on ebay link and it the same style. Im going to start searching for a good set.

And my turbo manifold design is a reverse y pipe. As for the tuning for fuel do you think a Vsafc is good enough for a daily driven car.

Yes. Here's a good fuel system setup for 250-350hp

1. apexi V-afc2 (overlap both maps to get 24 tuning points)
2. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator (tune base pressure if too much/little fuel or if you decide to go with bigger injectors and more boost later)
3. 370cc injectors (maybe clean/flow test them if you have a local spot)
4. walbro 255lph fuel pump (gotta be able to feed those injectors with the go juice)

this will also work for 400hp with bigger injectors, like 440cc+ but you will want more engine (fuel/timing)management and a bigger MAF (Z32tt) to get there safely.

I would definetely look into a emanage over the V/Safc. not much more of a price difference and much better for boost. ie you can tune off of boost.

Crusher, I would normally agree with you (I still have EU on my 3.5L since '07)

But the OP (TonyJr) has a turbo'd VE30de engine not a VG/VQ engine

Because it's a VE30 I actually think an AEM FIC-6 will work better than v-afc2/emanage in his case (since you can't connect EU to a VE30 like you would on a VQ30 with crank/cam signals)

with AEM you can tune total injector PW control, Map sensor for boost, ability to retard timing and it datalogs (vafc2 does not datalog). FIC just needs a AEM UEGO to interface/log WBo2 reading and you're set..

price range of FIC-6 is between a vafc2 and emanage ultimate w/ harness. I've seen them ~$330 on ebay/forums just not a common find.

I've tuned with FIC6 before, it does take a little getting used to with various maps/screens and laptop USB interface. Same with an Emanage Ultimate but I'm just used to it.

It is simple enough to tune yourself (if you understand what you're doing), and can be brought to any qualified dyno tuner, since AEM is a well-known boost tuning solution.

Ya it could get you by. Obviously not high dollar setup. But could setup a scratch start tig setup. I recommend finding a dc stick welder and buying the torch setup. Miller thunderbolt etc. Has to be dc power source. Then you have name brand abd last year's. Also can be done around $400 with bottle
