lightweight wheels

I am looking for some 17 x 8, or 18 x 8 rims that are kinda of light, I do not want to sacrafice any performance. I want them 8 inches wide becuase in the future I plan to do the 300TT brake upgrade. Does anybody know any websites or manufactures?

There is a GD going on now for Volk Racing 18 X 8.5 wheels. The TE37 also comes with 18 X 8 but you have to PM him for his number. I'm sure he can work something out for you. Good luck.

SSR Competition 17x8, really light wheels, if you can't spring for the Volks.

i've read a few reviews by people who have had their SSR Comps break or bend on them...not to say they are a bad rim but you might want to look into that. i was considering them but now i'm leaning towards the volks.

If you can afford it, go for the Volks. I can't afford the Volks, so I went with the SSR Competitions. As far as them bending, I have no problems with them no far. And I live in pot holes infested streets of New Orleans. So that should tell you something. I haven't heard of anyone with bent Competitions that drives a Maxima. Total weight of my 17x8 Competitions with 235/45/17 Sumitomo HTR+ tires is 38lbs.
