18x9.5

I was wondering if 18x9.5 rims will work on a 00 Maxima?

Since 18x8.5 "barely" fit, I'd say no.

Absolutely not, especially if your car is lowered.

My car hasn't been lowered. So they will fit on the back or "absolutely not"? If I put it on the back will I experience any problems?

On a FWD car you definitely don't want to put wider wheels in the rear. You will completely mess up the dynamics of the vehicle. It will push like a mother load. Will handle worst. I would highly suggest not doing so.

Don't overdue it. It's not RWD and therefore just doesn't make sense imo.

Alright. I was going to bid on some wheels on EBay and they were 18x8 and 18x9, so that's why I was asking. If handling is significantly impaired, then I won't do it. Thanks for the help.
