They have very good reviews and they one of the cheapest tires on 205/65/15 size. I know people recommend Potenzas 950 and Dunlop A2, but this one seems to have even better reviews than those two.

Back in 1997 car came with Toyo Proxies loved them !

Had them replace with some Michelin brand that was about 110 dollars a tire. HATED IT ! I think they were Michelin Energy MXV4. I remember noticing the car was just not what it used to be. Felt like a boat, and i think those tires lasted 40 k miles or more.

Got Kumho Supra 712 - seems fine to me. but ive made up my mind to stay with toyos from here on out. The 712's are much better than those rotten michelins.

Obviously, nonoe of you guys clicked the link. He's looking at the Ecsta HP4s.

One of my coworkers just got those tires on his Acura Legend to replace Michelins. He likes them so far. Very quiet and smooth. I dont know about handling and braking though.

I'm broke so I got those since they were about the same price as the crappy PepBoys tires, but better in snow (according to the reviews). I got the 205/65/15 for my stock 95 GLE honeycomb rims (trying to get SE rims =P) and they're pretty quiet and handle good. I need a new suspension so the handling and braking is a little off. They handle great in the rain (drove them in the crazy rain a few days ago where you couldn't see ****) and they don't make the wheel spin (my old tires were bad and made the wheels spin when you hit the gas). I'm waiting for winter to see how they handle in the snow.

I'll being keeping them this summer and this winter. If they handle good in the snow, then I'll buy these for the SE rims or if I have enough money saved, I'll buy better ones.

Overall, I'm happy with them and they handle great (they'll handle better once I get the suspension fixed) and they work great in the rain.

I have a pair of these i the front in the same size (205/65/15) and I didn't like them at first when I bought it and demoted them to the rear. But I rotated them back to the front (about 15k miles later)and the grip seem to have improved a bit. They hold up to wear pretty good too. I have 24k miles on that pair and the thread still has over 50% left. My only complaint is that they are very sensitive to tire pressure. +/- 2 psi and you can feel a huge difference in how they handle. So at first if you are not happy with them - just experiement with different pressures. I have a FSTB and I run 33psi (fr) and 30psi (rear) and I have minimal understeer compared to what I used to have.

Like Ben said - they are quiet and smooth and wet traction is pretty good considering its a lower priced tire. Dry traction leaves a bit to be desired compared to the Yokohama H4's I used to have in the back. But at the same time, the Yok's have a really soft sidewall which causes all sorts of problems.

Bottom line - for that price, I think the 716's are your best bet.

A lot of the guys at Altimas.net are replacing the Bridgestones with 17 and 18 inch Kuhmos. That was my plan also but will be taking delivery of a New Max in two weeks so the OE Tires stay on.
