Cooper Lifeliner or Falken 512

Just wanted opinions on a couple tires.

Cooper Lifeliner Touring SLE- V-rated 50,000 mile limited warranty

or

Falken Ziex 512- V-rated 30,000 mile limited warranty

Anyone had either of these tires? These will be going on stock rims on my 01 AE. Thanks for the input!

Falken 512 vs Cooper Lifeliners???

That is what I am down to now as well, it's between the Cooper Lifeliners or the Falken Ziex ze 512's. They Falken's can be bought online for 108 each, no tax or shipping, the Cooper's are avail locally for about 120 a piece. The Falken's tread looks more like a high performance tire with an aggressive tread design. The Cooper has a longer treadlife but looks like conventional tire. Can anyone comment on their experience with the Falken Ziex ze 512?

tires

if it helps at all, i have falken ziex 502 tires and they are great. they help me stop pretty quickly and they offer a good ride. granted my profile is much smaller than yours, overall i would say it is a good company to buy from.

I have had the Cooper Lifeliner Touring SLE for about 20,000 miles now. No complaints here! The wet traction is very good. I am definately going to put another set of these on my Max when these wear out.

New Coopers

I am putting on another set of Cooper tires on my Maxima. I had the Cooper Lineliner SLEs before and these tire were great for an all-season tire. Since I live in Wisconsin, the snow traction is important. The Cooper CS4's tread design seems to have the features I am looking for in an all-season tire. These tire also have a 60,000 mile treadlife warranty for an H rated tire. I haven't been disappointed with Cooper.

I love my lifeliners, I have had 2 sets of these. Very predictable dry handling, and nice rain traction. Stable at high speeds, and hard accelerating corning. These are certainly not a high performance race tire, but a very good low price alternative. IMO
