5th gen wheels, 4th gen max?

hi.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm a stupid guy, so what the hell... I'll ask anyway.

Is it possible to fit the 5th gen stock 17" alloy wheels on a 4th gen (I have a '96 GXE)?

If so, has anyone seen it done before and have any opinion on how it would look? Thanks.

Yeah they're fine but unless you're lowered the wheel gap is gonna get bigger. They are heavier so prepare to be a bit slower...

Yeah, I was expecting to run a little slower no matter what I put on as replacement wheels, considering I'm still on the stock hubcaps. No big deal really.

As for the wheel gap... looks like dropping the car is my next project.
