Tires for 2k2 Maxima on stock 17 rims.

Any one know of a good set of tires to buy for the oem wheels on the 2k2 max. I have been seriously thinking about a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE750's. I have read nothing but awesome reviews about this tire. They run about 147 a piece on tire rack. 300 treadwear, AA traction, they are really designed to stick like glue in both rain and dry, unlike the Potenza RE092's. Pieces of crap and 200 bucks a pop! Problem is, they don't make the 750's in the weird 225 50 R17, closest thing I can find is 235 45 R17. I believe that they are safe to run, they are also rated at 94 W, so I know they will support the weight of the car. Also thought about the Falken 512's. Not as sticky or performance oriented as the Bridgestones but they only run about 103 bucks a pop and look really good and have to be an improvement over the ever hydroplaning RE 92's!

I need some advice from some people who have bought new tires on stock rims. Thanks in advance

Have you checked out the Michelin Pilot A/S? www.tirerack.com has some great info on this tire. Plus the Michelin web page has helpful information as well.

Ya...but Pilot A/S also runs into the $200s. I plan on buying a set of Continental Conti ExtremeContact for my 2k2 SE rims (that I just bought). 235/45/17, and only $110 a pop. Check em out.
