Tire Size..Sorrow I'm New
TIRE SIZE
TIRE SIZE, I see so much info on Tire Size, but all it has done is confuse me. Once and for all, anyone out there opinions and guidance please.
2001, 20th Anniversary Maxima
OEM, 225,50,17
What are my options instead of the piece of crap bridgestones RE92 it cam with. Can I go to a 235, 50, 17 or 225 55, 17, 235 45 17.
Any and all suggestions of tire sizes, makes and models would be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind I live in Toronto, it snows here...allot sometimes and I want a true all season tire. THe potenzas are useless in the snow.

You can also check DiscountTireDirect.com for their selection of tires. Sears, Costco, WheelWorks, and Tires Plus are good places to order from once you've made your decision too.
If you have the money, go with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, but at about $200 per tire, it's definately not pocket change.

Those Michelen Pilots are 340.00 per tire Canadian. Are they that good? No problem but spending the money, but only if there is considerable advantage over a comparable tire. Goodyear RSA, Potenzas and Kumhos are all around the 200.00-220.00 range.

It always seems that anyone who purchases those Michelin Pilot Sport A/S have no regrets. I think they are widely regarded as THE best all-season tire. Since you're in snow country, you should probably seriously consider them.
