HELP! Need some advice regarding damage to my tire

Went over a curb -long story short, I took a turn too saucy and jumped a 4" curb with lf tire. Now, the sidewall is jutting out, about the size of a golf ball.

It doesn't bother me when Im driving, but Im planning on going to the track, and s**t like this makes me paranoid. I might be able to score a replacement potenza, but the question is how long can I drive with this, and does it pose a risk of deflating, or worse blowing out on me ?

Anybody ??

You definitely run the risk of blowing it out, especially if you’re planning on going to the track.

Also with having colder nights, the tire pressure increases, as opposed to when it is hot. This is the reason why some people take air out of their tires in the winter.

I would replace it ASAP if you do a lot of driving, and before the track.

I would replace it first thing tomorrow morning. Big chance of a blowout with that egg size bulge in the sidewall. Is it worth the chance of losing control of the car at speed if it blows?

umm hot air expand..cold air contract.

summer - psi goes up
winter - psi goes down

so in the winter you'll need to add air.

As said, replace it ASAP. You could be playing with your life driving around on a tire that horribly damaged. I would consider changing it to the spare and slowing down until you get it replaced. At least the spare won't blow out on you unexpectedly.
