235-55-17, Will They Fit An 20th Anniversary Maxima?

Going tire crazy like eveyone else. Potenzas are crap, Michelen Pilots are in the lead, but I read great things about Dunlop A2's but in Toronto the closest size to what we need is a 235-55-17, anyone tried this size? Will it work? Does it mess up the speedo?

Thank you all in advance

It will probably only change your mileage to read about 5-6 mph lower than you are really going. I have a 2k3 and I have 225/50/17 on there now and test fit 235/45/17. The larger fit and did not rub, but when you plus size you should go up 10mm on the section width (first#) and down 5% (second#). That way the 5% lower on the section height gives you a similar height and a little wider tire without rubbing. There are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in 235/45/17, and Falken 225/50/17. These are great tires and if you want something for ultimate grip the BF Goodrich GKDW's in 235/45/17 are I hope that helped a little. Good luck to you.
