Buying new winter tires

Im about to buy some new winter tires for my 95 Maxima. My winter rims are the honey comb stock rims that come on the GLE. I wanted to know if 225/70/15 will be o.k clearance wise since my car is lowered 2 inches. Or should I just stick with 225/65/15?

You're way off buddy. 205/65, or 215/60 15's. Those tire sizs you emtnioned will rub on your car since it lowered, wierd sizes too. . .Mayb I'm way off since you live in Canada, prolly get more snow, but still those wont fit if they even make those tire sizes

for winter tires you want a thinner width so that it will cut the snow better... 205's or 215's
