Rim Opinions

As many of you already know, I am looking at a Polished Titanium '03. I am trying to figure out which rims I want to get for this car. In a nutshell, I am going with 18" rims (Can't do 19's due to Chicago streets being pothole heaven ). The tires I want to look at are Michelin Pilot Sports in 245/40/18.

OZ Racing Superleggera MTS

Chrome Azev Type PS

Chrome OZ Racing Antares

Chrome Lowenhart BR5

I might consider the "gunmetal" version of the Superleggera. The MTS is the closest match to what I am looking for.

personally i dont like chrome on a max. only when you get in the 45K range and above is when chrome starts to look like it belongs on the car. therefore, i opt for OZ Racing Superleggera.

From the looks of things, both OZ rims lead the poll.
The superleggera has the lead over the Antares.

I like the Azev, but they want waaaaay too much for it.

At one point, I thought about the Axis Hagen but it only comes in a 19" size and I don't want to deal with bent rims and stuff like that due to the potholes here in Chicago.

BTW, I do tend to like rims with an aggressive edge to them. If you have any more suggestions, drop them here.

Will do. I have a feeling I am going to be considering one of the OZs. The Lowenhart would look phat but, like the Azev Type PS, it's going to be expensive as hell.

I am still open to suggestions, though.

I don't like 18" chrome wheels. I think 19"s should be as low as you go with chrome.

With that said, it looks like the Superleggas get my vote out of the 4.

PS- I accidentally voted for the other OZ wheels before I saw "chrome".

Get the OZ Racing Superleggera as they are the only wheel in the whole bunch that weighs less than 50lbs(j/k). All the others are heavy as puck and don't really look that good.

I think the Chrome Lowenhart BR5 are the best. Well, actually it's a tie with the Chrome Azev Type PS. I think chromem is best for your gray lustre maxima.

However, these will be going on a Polished titanium '03 like yours.

I am starting to rescind my tule about 19s because I want to consider these:

The other thing I am considering is making the rims (Hagens or Antares) black chrome.

Here are some more wheels to consider, which will help save you some money:

18x8 Avenue AV7

18x8 Velox Hyperion

18x7.5 Niche Rhine (a bit more mula than the top two)

18x8.5 Kaotik Z5 (a bit more mula than the top two)

18x8.5 Foose Speedster (a bit more mula than the top two)

I'm a wheel *****! hehe
