Changing tire sizes, need input.

I'm finally doing away with the 225/50/17 Potenzas and considering getting something in 235/45/17. Are there any fitment issues with these tires? Is there a major difference in the fender gap going from the 225/50 to 235/45. I'm looking to spend $150 per tire (or less) feel free to throw in recommendations in terms of which ones I should get. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Looked all over the place, still can't seem to find what I'm looking for. My biggest concerns are: given that I have eibach springs, should I expect the tires to rub anywhere and with the fender gap noticably increase as the result of the tire size change. And lastly, little concerned with tire noise. the potenzas have gotten horrible as they are wearing out.. Oh and if it helps the rims I'm running are the 17 mm Evo 5s

Thanks..

How wide are the Evos? If they are less than 7.5" wide, the 235 is not recommended in a 45 series tire for a 7" rim. Although some people on the org do mount 235/45/17s on the stock rim. No fittment issues at all, no noticeable change in wheel gap, more tires available in that size...

Falken Ziex 512 is pretty good and they come in OEM size. Continental ContiExtremeContacts are very good and they come in 215/50/17 or 235/45/17, both are close to OEM size.
