What the heck is 5 X 120?

I'm looking at some winter tires with rims on ebay. The guy says the offset is 5 x 120. Does this make any sense, and if it does, will they fit on a 3rd gen Max?
Thanks.

That's the bolt pattern, not the offset. And no, it will not fit any Max. Our pattern is 5x114.3

5X120 is normally the bolt pattern for BMW's. Way too big for a Max.
