235/45 or 225/45 on 17x7.5 wheel

a set of 2002 6 spoke SE wheels for my 4th gen. I was wondering if there was a problem with putting 235's on these wheels.

our stock wheels arent 7.5" wide..they are 7"..the most u can really go is 235 safely

Many people have put 235/45/17 on their OEM 17" wheels and no problem have been reported.
