Potenza RE950: MAX PSI 44... What should I fill them to for everyday driving?

When I got my tires mounted last weekend, the mechanic filled them to 33PSI. It says MAX 44PSI on the sidewall. Shouldn't they be filled higher than 33?

Somewhere between 32 and 35, but experiment to find out what works best for you. Anything higher than 35 and you risk having abnormal wear in the centre of the tire.

Watch the wear pattern on the tire.

35 is a bit high. I just got RE950s also and have been experimenting with different pressures. At 35, I could feel every bump in the road and the tires didn't stick that well. I've dropped pressure down to 33 in the front and around 31-32 in the rear and its much better.

I run 31-33 psi in my 950's, anything higher it gets too rough IMO
