Max with G35 18" wheels and drop

Curious - Is anyone on the org acutally running G35 18's? I chopped a shot with a little drop to see how it looks. Impressions?

Looks good!! I like the slightly darker silver and the thin spokes. No telling how much people will try to get for those, especially rip off salvage yards. Salvage yards will figure out a way to justify their "same as retail" price.

Looks good though.

i haven't seen anyone with the 18s, but i have a friend who's running on the sedan's 17s. the front looks good, but the rear offset doesn't really match the car...it sits in too much....

How about getting a hold of 4 fronts and putting them all around?

I think that would be an excellent look for the Max especially if it can like that stock from the factory.

I bet those would be hard to find at a decent price.

well, buying 4 new front rims from a dealership is going to be extremely expensive. might as well just go with aftermarket forged rims.

and buying 4 front rims will be difficult since not that many people will part just the fronts...

Yeah, I forgot they're 2 different sizes. I thought I might get lucky and find a rich G35 owner stepping up from these and willing to let them go cheap. I guess the offset issue explains why no orgers are running these. No way I'd pay what they'd charge at the dealer!

Nice Photoshop job!!! For a minute I thought those were real. Just a little info to pass on which I have been researching for 6 months now.

G35 Coupe 18" wheels and tires
18x8 all around
35mm offset
Front tires: 225/45/18
Rear tires: 245/45/18

I have a friend who also has a AE and he put the coupe wheels on his car. Looks sweet. He jus has to be careful going over large bumps because the the rears are 245s and they just clear. If and when i do get my set i plan to put 235s all around, prob S-03. Go on ebay and bid for the next available set. Caution: Everytime there is a set available one or two wheels are scratched. Let me know if yoou decide to get them.

Forgot to add the my friend has H&R and Koni's.

at 18x8, it wouldn't be such a great idea to run 235 series tires in the back just so that the tires will not rub over large bumps

better to just find another high end set of wheels that fit with the right offset.

I have a majestic blue 02 with the 350Z touring wheels (18x8 35mm offset) and dropped with Eibach's. The 245's won't work in the back due. The 225's are fine but are very near the same . I haven't tried 235/40's yet.

Now would you be able to use the wheels the G35 rims come on or would you need new tires?
