Bent rim...need help (attn: ATL area)
Rim = Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 5x114.3
Well I just brought my car down to Atlanta last week for school and I managed to bend a rim within about 24 hrs, which probably wouldn't surprise those who know how bad the roads can be. I hit a 2-3" deep, 2 ft long gap in the pavement going about 35-40 mph and bent my front driver side rim. I estimate that it is bent nearly 1" inward between the spokes.
I'm not really sure how to handle the situation. I have heard of places that fix bent rims, but thats about it. I don't know anything about them or the process, let alone if they could fix mine or where they are located. I have a funny feeling that I will just have to buy a replacement rim. I could probably pick one up from tirerack, but it will cost $250 for the rim alone.
Basically these are my questions:
1. If the rim is bent, is the tire usually ruined or still usable on a new rim?
2. Is there a place I can take the rim to get fixed, if it's even possible?
3. What's the estimated cost on fixing the rim vs buying a new one?
4. Anyone know of a place the has a better price than $250 or a spare rim they want to sell?
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the help.

funny since the roads are actually pretty good here.
1. change it. even if there are no punctures, there could be damage to the sidewall and you will get bubbles. and those are bad...
2. if you are still in the atl, http://www.wheelwizard.com/ i never had to use them but people say they are good. if you are back up north, no clue.
3. ~150$ vs no idea how much you paid per wheel.. though different places charge different to repair.
4. tirerack? or i would just browse the streets for wheel places. sometimes you can find good deals.
