i am putting new teins springs on too

225/45/18 is acceptable, but very few tires come in that size.

I did do a search...
i just wanted to make sure about the size becuase tires are expensive and i didn't want to make the wrong choice and get screwed...

I was looking at those. Not sure how they perform. I wish they had Falkens.

i am not gonna put them on till spring becuase i don't want the salt to screw them up

Why would you put 225 on 8"wide rim, that doesn't seems to make sense, with this size the side wall will be stretch from the inside not leaving much rubber to protect the side of the wheel I would personally go with 235-40-18 or 245-40-18.
