2k4 Maxima SE 18" wheels with stock tire fit on 1996 Maxima?

Will the 2k4 Maxima SE 18" wheels with stock tire fit on 1996 Maxima? Will there be any issues with tire rubbing when the car is loaded?

It should be OK, but I would really try and slap one on before I bought them. BTW, you might also want to get the VQ35 from the 6th gen too, because that is going to be one slow Max with those heavy *** 18s. 55lbs.

Jaws,

What type of wheel would you recommend for my 96 without making any mods?

well the wheel size should fit on your car, But i dont recomend having the same tire size on it. Try putting a 245/40/18s on it or a 235/40/18s i think that 04 wheels are alittle bit heavy.

Why don't people go with a 16' rota slipstream on the 4th gen max? I am thinking of doing that, like only 14lbs per wheel. wsr0079, I might be selling my extra set of 99 SE-L rims those don't weigh that much compared to the 5th gen 17'

Is there a sticky that lists the different stock wheel types for all the various generations, and what they weigh? If not, maybe one can be started? I was not able to locate one.
