what price are you paying. there's a group deal right now in the group deal forum for these....they're officially titled HP Lightnings...18x8's for $590 shipped. i believe the guy runnin the group deal IS owner of wheelguyz.com but i assume the prices are very different.

and....

i'm gonna be running 19x8.5's with no problem. big h (owner of wheelguyz.com AND also running the group deal) is running 20's. we're both lowered and we both have no problems....or rather..i won't have problems....he currently doesn't.

plus, i'm guessin he's paying more for those 17's just cause it's through the website.

In my opinion....its 19 inches strong....if you like to race....If you want to go straight up Bling...then you cant have teenage rims....I would go with 19's. I see no point in 17 inch wheels.

Go 18's. You won't regret it.

Friends don't let friends buy 17's.

HolyHugeTireSidewall Batman. In my opinion, 18s are the smalles I would put on a MAx. 19s are what I plan on buying. I just wish tires were cheaper.

Why would you do that? For that stay with your factory rims.
