My buddy scraped a curb w/ his 2k4 G35. Now the dealer is telling him the vibration he gets is from the rim AND TIRE being too damaged. Funny part is that he only drove it maybe 20 miles since he hit the curb. That tire went bad fast! Also, he had the tires balanced and they balanced fine. I went for a drive and it sounds like a bad wheel bearing to me. I have had bent wheels on my car before and it never sounded close to what he's getting. Would my Modas fit in his car to test it without the "bad" wheel on the car? I have 17x7.5 (38 offset) rims with 235/45/17 tires.

edit: this would be try eliminate a front wheel on his car.
