Center Cap Protection

I got a set of 16x7 American Racing AR Tourings for Christmas, which have plastic center caps. After looking at my stock wheel center caps, I realize I'm gonna need to put something on these to keep them from tarnishing...any product suggestions?

I just put a coat of wax on the wheels ever few months. It seems to do the trick!

Thanks...do you use a car wax, or like a wheel/rim wax?
